    true :)

of course, they tend to be all the bandwagon fans who left when they thought the season was over and only came back when we made the playoffs

forgot how peaceful Stros threads were without all these cursing hotheads :)

I was going to post the same thing. Vizcaino's range and arm is horribe. I would even give Eric Brunlett a start just to see if he can provide a little more range.

why are you people acting like backe would've pitched the 6th? he was already around 100 pitches on 3 days rest and he isn't oswalt or clemens. he was coming out after 5 anyway. now whether qualls should've come in with 2 outs in the 5th is up for debate, but he wasn't pitching the 6th.

this is why i hate our bullpen, because on any given days about 2 or them are due to be shelled and we just have to hope we pick the ones that aren't going to get killed. today we stepped on the land mind named chad qualls.

Qualls ERA in the post season is over 6.00 who said he has been pitching well?????

The guy is horrible. He has an occasional good outing, but Garner needs to go with the Starters longer.....especially in the post season.

The pitch to Rolen last inning started the downfall.

    The Bullpen looks scared.

Sure Codell, must be much better to be such a casual fan like you.

    ;)

Nothing wrong with having an opinion about your favorite team....

    5 1/3 innings pitched
    8 runs scored

    Thank you.

I just wonder if it's time to reconsider bringing in Qualls as the first guy. Mabe we should give Harville a look.

Of course Qualls was snakebit in that inning.

in fairness to Qualls, his fielders aren't helping much

and les we forget, that the Cardinals were the best offensive team in the league this year

it shouldn't be a shocker that they ended up knocking Backe and then Qualls around
