I was looking back at regular season head-to-head statistics and discovered that our Astros were the only team in the entire MLB to win the season series this year against the Cardinals. St. Louis basically beat everyone else to a pulp.

Sucks I'm going to be in Kosovo for most of the series. As long as I can be back to see Roger vs. Red Sox I'll be okay!

    ASTROS in 6!

NO, they push the games back, and eliminate the off days.

Backe's not going out tonight, is he?

I thought it was going to be Munro.

Maybe I should uh...actually post them so you guys know what I'm talking about....:p

Backe only threw 79 pitches in game 3 which was a noon game.

I think you run him out there on 3 days rest....

    Game 1 - Backe on 3 days
Game 2 - Munro on full rest
Game 3 - Clemens on 1 extra day rest
Game 4 - Oswalt on 1 extra day rest
Game 5 - Backe on full rest
Game 6 - Munro on full rest
Game 7 - Clemens on full rest

    Astros 8 Cardinals 5

Astros continue to pound the ball and make clutch hits... 10 outta the 12 runs scored in Game 5 came with 2 outs in the inning. Plus our hitters are just on fire...11 hrs during Division Series is a record. Bullpen will need to be able to step up though as I don't see Munro (if he starts) lasting past the 5th or 6th inning.

We need to score early and often to give our pitchers a little wiggle room and get our confidence high. The Cards have some big hitters so we need to get on the board early because I think this will be a high scoring series. Lets go Astros....this is awesome

I love the move to make Munro the game 1 starter, I think it sets us up nicely for a seven game series. If we can steal game one, I love our chances...

Stros need to pounce on Williams early, and I think they will. Munro will get pounded early but the pen will fill in nicely, with Lidge getting the W.

How would you get - 3? Is Furcal going to go on a bender and DWI his way into the stadium, running over Rolen, Pujols and Edmonds?

    Astros Win, Astros Win!!!!

How are they doing the TV scheduling? There are a couple of nights where both teams are going to be on FOX at 7. Are they going to do it regionally?
