    this ump is being paid by the cardinals. that's the only explanation behind that strike 3 call against bagwell, a call we have not gotten all night.


    and strike 1 to berkman was easily as far out as the non-strike 3 to rolen earlier. one pitch not called a strike here and there can be huge and we are on the short ass end of the stick tonight.

    Yea, once I typed that, I remembered about Game 5.

    I just have that 3-run homer to LaRoche, and that single to Rolen on my mind.

    it wasn't quite madduxian or glavinian but it was far away from anything called tonight and it wasn't even framed well. the catcher reached for it. amazingly bad call.

    He hit's good one game then the next he is no where to be found...he's not consistant right now in any of the series. But he has had some clutch Hits when we needed them.
