Nix Still Sucks….

Been saying Nix has sucked from day 1. Nothing has changed. maybe he got fatter but that's about it. he's still completely useless and sucks on the court. He has no business being in the NBA.

 

I wholeheartedly believe I can train for 3 mos and take Nix's job. And the sad part is I'm serious!

I watch this kid on the court and he does not do 1, one , uno....NOT ONE THING SPECIAL.

He's not in basketball shape, he's slow, he doesn't handle the ball all that well, not particularly good on defense, and he can not score. I do not get it. It has to be players in the G-League better than him.

 

Thick Nix needs to toss up fewer bricks

Someone mentioned the Rockets wanted him to be more aggressive and force the action like in RGV, and maybe he's just nervous bc of his brickery and turnoveritude, but Thic Nix does a lot of " just pass around the perimeter"

I'm sure I'll say this many times, but it's not just the Rockets - most NBA teams do not rely on complicated off ball multi screen action to get guys wide open and certainly not on set plays l.

Sure it occasionally happens but the vast majority of offense is generated by someone (whether an iso or a screen or off a handoff) beating someone off the dribble which is what Nix is allegedly there to do.

 

Yeah, ok, i can say it is somewhat about him but he brings it up and there is ZERO movement he is not KPJ or Jalen he is not a beat his man guy.....he needs screens and movement......

I am ok with some ISO, but why can't people move???? LOL.....Jabari and EGO just literally stand there hoping to get the ball .....KPJ has to beat 2 men every time down the court, he has started hot most games then tails off probably due to exhaustion whereas last night it was the opposite where it looked like he just said...screw it, I am gonna score....

The fact Nix is getting actual playing minutes tells me all i need to know about Silas's coaching sense. Its time for him to go.

I do think he would make a great assistant coach

Honestly should've kept Theo Maladon over Nix. He's looked way more impressive with the Hornets than Nix has ever looked with the Rockets.

 

Maybe but he definitely looked like **** with OKC and in preseason

 

Did anyone tell Nix to practice layups?

 

tyty injured already? That injury crap is why he fell down the draft. Lets hope it doesnt bite us in the ass.
