When my Mazda was in the shop to have some bushings replaced they gave me a Mazda CX7 and it was alot of fun to drive, turbocharged, handled really well, I liked it alot. Not sure how it stacks up to the Murano but it might be something to consider.
I like the Mazda okay, but after spending the last 3 months seriously deciding on a car, I've set myself on the Murano. I like the way the transmission drives. I like the way it looks. I really like the features inside. I don't mind the gas mileage. I guess now it's just a matter of picking the car and trying to get a good deal.
I drove it as a rental car and liked it. I don't have any kids or anything like that so I have no use for something that big, but it drove really nice.
I was supposed to close on a property this past week so I can pay cash, but it got postponed. It's killing me to be able to look and not make an offer yet. My current car is a total POS with no A/C. Hopefully this week I'll get the cash.
