I wish he would kill Matt. Then we won't have any reason to see more Nazis and SheMales ever again. And the death could be an excuse to bring Sean and Julia back together.

Freaking Dish, I tried to watch the 2nd airing of it, but my Dish was going in and out, can somebody fill in some gaps?

I was at the part where she was talking to her mom when my signal was lost, when it came back, she was removing the pillow from her face, so I assume she wasn't actually dead. So, I only heard the beginning of what she was saying, but I imagine she must of said something significant that would explain why she finished her off. I did see the surprise at the end, but it cut off before I could see what happens next week.

When she was finished talking to Erica and basically saying it was Ok that she didn't give her any motherly love anymore because Julia didn't love her either she started gasping for air. Then she killed her.

Julia didn't really suffocate that woman, it was just a metaphor of her finally getting over her mother and the need for her acceptance. Other than that, I still don't think Julia is the carver. She's a main character and is involved in major storylines with Sean and Christian. Plus, she doesn't have any motivation to do it.

was Julia not ending her (both of the hers in the scene) suffering

btw completely love the way mix the main story lines up, shelve others for a few weeks and then bring them back, it certainly makes recurring themes not get stale and also adds to the carvers suspense.... anyone else think think Julia might have got carvered when she arrive home at the end of yesterdays ep??

Yeah, Quentin's a dick. My opinion now is that it is definitely Liz (hey, she's a lesbian...you KNOW she has strap ons somehwhere in her house), and Quentin's ass is getting carved in this next episode. I never had very strong feelings one way or another on Julia. To me, her character was just a means to add stress and color to the happenings between Sean and Christian. But this last was a good episode for her. I really enjoyed it. I didn't like the way they did Sean and I still don't feel like it is in character for him to just walk off like that, but it wasn't too big a deal.

Next couple episodes ought to be doosies.

Yea...I didn't get that feeling. I got the feeling that Julia really did suffocate that woman thinking it was her Mom. She wanted to be free from her. She didn't want to care for this disfigured mother the rest of her life after how she was treated by her for so long. She felt that would be worse than taking her mother's life. Besides, she gave her the kiss of death.

Hmm. Which is the correct interpretation? We all seem to have our own.

There's no way that Julia is The Carver...she was in the front row of the church when Kimber got kidnapped...

If anyone wants any additional spoilers, I'd recommend checking out IMDB's page on Nip/Tuck. Also, I read there that Ryan Murphy (the creator) has confirmed they are using a stand-in for the Carver, not the actual person. At this point, the only viable options for the Carver (if you believe all of Murphy's statements in interviews) is Sean, Liz, Matt, Bobolit, and Quentin.

    *****************POTENTIAL SPOILER*********************

I saw a message board somewhere where a guy claims to have seen a screener of the last episode since his company has ad spots on the show. Most likely bogus, but potentially real. The guy said that Kit is the carver and that it turns out she is Christian's sister (making their threesomes much, much less arousing). That's the big twist. Personally, I don't think that's it. I could see it...but it doesn't make sense that she would set up Christian as the Carver, **** with his head, and then let him off the hook by carving herself and acting sullen about it. Doesn't seem to fit with the Carver's MO, to me anyway. But I thought I would pass it along.

    ***************** END SPOILER ***********************8

The person you mentioned was not a character in seasons 1 & 2, something the writers have said the Carver has been.

Yeah, that's true. That doesn't really make sense.

I have a question for those that have been following the show closely. Do you think that Kit planted any of the evidence pointing towards Christian in The Carver crimes? I see people speculating as to who is the Carver, and they seem to think that whoever it is needed to have access to Christian's sperm. But that doesn't make sense to me because when Christian let it leak that he was the suspect in the Carver crimes, the Carver immediately struck again to prove them all wrong...so why would they have ever planted any sperm evidence in the first place if they didn't want someone else to get credit for the carvings?

I always thought that Kit was planting evidence. What does everyone else think, since they never really elaborated one way or another in the show?

That's why I think it is Liz. Hates Christian enough to set him up but is also crazy enough as the Carver not to let him take credit for the "work".

Yeah, and since the last episode is named Quentin Costa, and that usually means that will be the person who goes under the knife for that episode, I think Quentin is the last person to get carved before The Carver is unmasked. And that makes sense since they created some real visible tension between Liz and Quentin during the last episode.

"Wow, and I thought THAT was the biggest ass I had ever seen."

Well, the episode itself didn't really illuminate anything concerning the Carver...so it doesn't surprise me that no one has posted in this thread yet. But the previews for next week looked pretty damn interesting.

Firstly, if I saw correctly, it definitely looks as if Quentin gets carved at some point, so I think that just about eliminates him. I was absolutely dead convinced it was Liz, until they showed the clip of her being questioned by the police. Doesn't seem like they would play that unless they wanted to purposely misdirect you...so now I'm thinking it ISN'T her. But the only other person I thought it might be, which is Julia, is now pregnant with Sean's baby, which makes me think that will be a big part of Season 4's plot, so I don't see how they could have her be the Carver.

All very confusing...but one thing is certain...next week is going to be ****ing awesome.
