i'm pretty sure that he didnt die......and that's all the more reason to believe it might be him (having to wear a mask and whatnot). honestly, i think it has to be him based on him not yet appearing in the show this season, but being a recurring character. doubt they would just write him off for a season. like i said, that was my original prediction when the carver first came about, but i also thought that it was too obvious.....but once again, the fact that none of you even brought him up makes me think that maybe it isnt so obvious.
Plus, even further motivation for Bobolit is Kimber basically dumping him. Now he's got her where he wants her and can hurt Christian even more. Despite being a plastic surgeon, he could be upset that he spends his life making other people beautiful while he himself remains nothing much to look at...so he takes it out on other people. Boy, I hope they go that route, because I'm pretty sure that no matter HOW they tried to sneak Sean in as the Carver, I would stop watching the show.
yeah.. if they make sean the carver the show will go south. Bobilit makes sense because in one of the episodes which I cant remember someone talks about the carver having surgical preciscion*( spell check). Bobolit wanted to takes christians face so whats the next best thing ? Do him in the doop shoot. haha
Please refresh me on the Bobilit Story lines Was he the incompetent surgeon or something? Rocket River
Quentin is a freak..BUT Does anyone know why he got so upset when the military guy started talking about the war and what he did? (I know that most “normal” people would react to that story, but we’re talking about Nip/Tuck and Quentin here!). I found that kind of interesting. Why is it that he knew exactly who to call to report the military guy of being Gay, and where did he learn to kick ass? (Referring to when Quentin made some kind of self defense/karate/whatever?) I don’t think that Quentin is the Carver and I think there’s more to this story than we think.
btw at the end of the last episode they did a bit about the carver's myspace page, www.myspace.com/thecarver Here's the main page profile: Music Early 80's pop, InDeep Movies Gone with the Wind, Freaks, Badlands Television "According to Jim" (proves how demented this one is...) Books "The Confessions of St. Augustine" - I keep a copy on my nightstand and read a passage every evening before bed. "Capote" - Gerald Clark. I'm also a big fan of Wally Lamb. Heroes Rasputin, The Dali Lama, Joan Crawford, George Steinbrenner Hometown: Northern Maine Body Type: Athletic Religion: Catholic Sign: Scorpio Children: I don't want kids Occupation: Artist, Humanitarian if you look at the blog entries it says this on the profile: Gender: Female Status: Single Sign: Scorpio Liz? or a red herring?
This shows getting so crazy that it almost seems like more than half the shiet they come up with is spontaneous and I wouldn't be surprised if the directors don't even know who the carver is going to be.
Have the writers made any mention of a big reveal this season of who The Carver is? I feel like they are building up to it since the Carver has made as big a move as kidnapping Kimber. It would be really weird if it was Liz.
I found this on a usenet group and I don't watch enough nip/tuck to poke holes in it. Maybe ya'll can find some.
While much of what that guy says makes sense, the Carver has been around for a lot longer than most of the intense strife that Sean has known. I'm not as familiar with the first season, but I think the Carver attacks began long before his marriage was on the rocks, before Matt was giving him ****, before he found out Matt wasn't his son, before Eva, before Escobar, before all that stuff. He had conflict, but not this tremendous, foundation shattering trauma that he has dealt with for the last season or so. It just doesn't make sense that Sean would be playing the Carver back then.
Sean as the Carver would ruin the character dynamic of the show. Just make some schmoe like Jude be the Carver.
The Carver's victim was in Season two. Episode 7. 2x07 Naomi Gaines 08.03.2004 After a fashion model (Leslie Bibb) is disfigured by an attacker, Sean offers to repair her injuries for free -- thrusting McNamara/Troy into the local media spotlight. When Matt becomes uncomfortable with his demanding relationship with Ava, she reveals a secret that threatens to crumble his entire existence. Check out the last scheduled episodes' names: # "Sal Perri" - December 6, 2005 # "Joy Kringle" - December 13, 2005 # "Cherry Peck" - December 20, 2005 # "Quentin Costa" - December 27, 2005 I think Quentin is the Carver's last victim (at least I hope so.)
The Carver didn't show up until season 2. Sean's marriage did start out on the rocks but it just wasn't as apparent until the season progressed. This supports most of what I thought as well but I think Sean and Dr. Costas would be too obvious. Wish some of the rumors didn't indicate it would be one of the main characters. That just narrows it down too much and may disappoint but I doubt it. This show has had some of it's most boring moments this season but it's beginning to pick up at right about the right time. I'm hooked and can't wait until tomorrow
Okay, if you follow this link to the myspace thingy, there is a Quicktime video of The Carver having a quick speech while he/she sits up on a bed. Then, after the speech, there is a quick flash of SOMETHING before it all goes black. Here's a screen capture of the "something". Can anyone make out what this is? Go visit the link yourself to see it in live motion.
I really keep going back and forth on who I think the carver is. All I know is that I wish he would kill Matt's new nazi girlfriend, I just don't even like watching the scenes with her in it.
