Last nights episode was crappy......this show is starting to bore me now, plus I get insanely horrible FX reception. I have Phonoscope cable, which sucks. No FXHD either.
I was disappointed. I felt it was a filler like those dumb dream sequence episodes in the 6th season of Sopranos.
Agreed, this was a pretty bad show...I guess the only things I got out of it were... Spoiler connor being a puss and annie being a crack w****...Matt a world class surgeon, Pu-lease...very ghey...I guess Christian is 42 as they said 62 is the new 26...Connor is 20 and is finally having the operation done...I didn't know that...I guess the only thing I don't get is why they are going to New York...
I'll echo what others said, terrible episode. The previews made expect as much, but I also knew that the last time Nip/Tuck did a weird, alternate/future reality like this last one, it was my favorite episode ever. The one when Julia smashes her face through the mirror and gets shown her life (by the Famke character) if she had married Christian rather than Sean. It was a freaking spectacular episode, but this was nothing like this. Really, the characters are starting to lose me. Christian hasn't changed much, but Sean always played the moral foil to Christian, the yin to his yang. Now, with Sean cheating on his wife (the cheap kind of cheat, not one like with Megan) and begging her to stay with him after he found out she cheated on him too...he just seems to be losing any qualities I would have admired in the guy. I understand they are trying to give him depth and dimension with the backstory about his face and father, etc...but it just didn't really work for me. It would go a long way towards restoring the season if they had some episodes focusing solely on the Christian/Sean relationship (not that freudian gay bull****, either) and let them carry the show for a while.
I agree that it was the worst episode ever. They could've at least saved face by showing Kimber. But then again she wouldn't have been hot @ 60 or whatever. Lose-lose situation
Ok, I saw last night episode...They said there were only 2 episodes left, and normally, I'd be like "WTF!", but after this season, I'm glad it's over...For one thing, once the show is off, I won't have to watch those crap Dirt commercials...I swear to god if they play another one, I'll go crazy... Spoiler Sean being drunk was funny...I mean, he has gone thru a lot...Being drunk Santa was even funnier, with the little elf giving a BJ..LOL...Wilbur comign back into the picture was kinda nice, but then it dawned on me that the Best Bachelor on TV is getting married and a father...WTF is up with that...dont' get me wrong, I'm all for character development, but this is Christian f'n Troy we're talking about...I hope the next two eps are so much better... We need more Kimber...
Ok, only two more times for me to bring this thread back...ugh, last night sucked...This show is not only getting predictable, but the story sucks this year...Only one more show left and I'm not sure what's left to say... Ok, I was down with Kimber being in a p*rn, but a pregnant p*rn, me thinks no!!!!
What are you talking about, pregnant p*rn is the best! And who's going to replace Sean if he leaves?? Theres no way I'm going to keep watching if they throw friggin Mario Lopez in there.
I have a feeling Escobar is going to kill Christian's fiancee. Then, Sean will return to work with Christian seeing as how she is no longer in the middle. I also think Escobar will die in the next episode.
Wow no cliffhanger? Is there going to be another season? I'd actually be looking forward to another one. If there is this seemed to reboot the series a bit. New City, 2 single men. I could definitely see a lot of sex sex sex in the next season.
From what I've read, the cast has signed off on a new season, but the writer/creator hasn't yet. So there most likely will be a fifth season, but it may not include Ryan Murphy... Edit: Oh, and I'm not sold on a fifth season being a good idea. Moving the show to Hollywood seems kinda cheesy to me.
Well, what can I say, but man, that sucked...The singing bit was kinda ghey...I don't know yet, but if another season done, I may watch...I hope it goes back to its roots... Hollywood does seem kinda cheesy, but two single guys, a lot of action and new story lines...Definitely need more Kimber...San Fernando Valley is the p*rn capital of the world... Overall, the season was very disappointing...it started ok, but man, did it fizzle out...Escobar being dead was a nice touch, but that's about it...Didn't really take the Brooke character to where she could have gone... Well, at least I don't have to see those stupide "Dirt" promos anymore...
I was sort of close in my prediction. Escobar did die, Christian's fiancee is out of the picture, and Sean / Christian are together again. That wasn't very entertaining, however. The singing part was just terrible. I don't know what they were trying to do there but it didn't work. I almost felt like I was watching "Magnolia" there for a minute. That just sucked. The whole Kimber / Matt thing came about from just awful writing. It makes no sense and does nothing for the show except make one gasp at how much of a mismatch we have here. At least r****ded Escobar is dead and we don't have to worry about him returning. It's a wonder how he survived for so long being a bonehead and all. All in all...some big names were on but it was still the worst season yet.
