he’s not wrong…especially with Sengun’s ability to find open perimeter shooter out of the paint.

I hate Patrick Ewing or any Knicks. Is it possible to replace him with someone decent :)

lol, Denver's problem is keeping the guys around Jokic healthy, not Jokic.

Getting touches into Sengun's hands early in the shot clock definitely makes the offense run better.

That would be true of any multi-threat player (scorer & passer). You got to get touches to Green, Sengun, etc early in the shot clock to make the defense work and to unlock angles and opportunities. Clearly Sengun is also a gifted passer.

I think the Rockets are trending that way already.

Just because Denver hasn't done it yet doesn't mean the strategy is flawed. Do you think its possible to win a championship with a team built around Jokic on a supermax? If your answer is "no", I don't agree, but point taken. Otherwise I'm not sure I see your point.

I think having a system built around running things through one player is always doomed to fail. You need multiple options, and that's what the Rockets are trying to create.

Is Sengun one of those options, absolutely, but if they overload any of those options, they'll fail. Finding the balance is what this season is all about.

But hey, jokic has been winning individual awards! If Sengun does that and we never win, SOF would be ecstatic!!

Well when I said it Green fans got mad maybe they will listen to arguably the best offensive player in the nba and possibly the greatest playmaking Center to ever play

He's right but we aren't trying to win so a professional NBA coach will struggle to decide if Sengun should start.

every non Miami Lebron chip is an offense built around the skills of 1 player… rockets and Olajuwon. Dirks mavs. Other players can and do add value but the philosophy is build around 1 players value and how to maximize it. What’s funny is Jokic’s style is maximizing other players value.. yet you can’t see that or how wrong your take is.

Edit: Giannis. How could I forget? Also, let's look at usage rate for the season. Or career. As involved and center of the offense Jokic is, his usage rate is not as high as many others.

Everyone but SIlas and KPJ like that idea. As Ive been saying for over a year SILAS is an idiot and his biggest focus is trying to make KPJ into Luka. He only does good things when he has no choice or his job is in jeopardy. Notice how we go on a winning streak whenever the cries for him to get fired get loud.
