Exactly. Hakeem got dunked on by Kevin Johnson and he's argubly the greatest defensive big man of all-time.
IMO, the Jordan dunk on Ewing is not about Ewing, but about Jordan. And technically, it is not about the dunk, but about the move (or moves) that resulted in the dunk. It was a great great play by Jordan not because his dunk on Ewing was particularly spectacular, but because his moves past 4 Knicks was absolutely amazing, especially in light of the context of the game situation. Talking about amazing dunks, count me in a one who thinks Dominique was the most creative in-game dunker since Dr J. The only one that came close since Dominique was Jordan and perhaps Vince Carter, none else.
Can someone explain why this story is still the lead on every sports talk show? Can't we just tar and feather LeBron and get it over with.
I never liked Pippen personally, and i´ve always supported Jordan for what he did for this sport but Pippens dunk was much better. Jordan´s fake was better than the dunk.
That Pippen dunk is nothing special... it was a fast break ffs, Pippen was running full speed ahead, Ewing was backpedalling when he jumped, all his momentum was still going backwards. Then he has a few words to say to him while he's on the ground, then runs away quickly before he gets decked...
