imo he was going to punch the ball or the forearm ... and btw he barely touched navarro, if his fist really hit navarro's balls he would not have been able to finish the game imo. and honestly, who would not want to punch navarro ?
The French aye... Only they could respond with something soft like flopping with an even softer/lower act in whacking in the nuts. Whats wrong with just running through a bloke to prove a point? I mean the nuts.... who does that?
I commend the Frenchman in applying a revolutionary method to conduct an inquisition into the Spaniard's manliness.
This was a pathetic move, I was surprised they didn't kick him out of the game. It was frustration that they lost, not that the spanish were flopping. The fernandez fall was IMHO a flop (altough Turiaf was, surprisingly, out of control). But this was frustration because he lost. Also LOL at complaining the Spanish didn't give their best against brazil. (Tanking is an American thing to do). And if the french were just a better team it wouldn't have mattered who they played. They just aren't good enough.
If true that a flop gave the Spanish a decisive call late in the 4th, then it'd be closer to warranted. Case in point: When Kirilenko flopped in game 2 of the 08 playoffs negating a game tying Bobby Jackson 3. A followup crotch punch would be totally acceptable.
But why did Batum choose Navarro, and not someone like the Gasol brothers? Same with Turiaf choosing Fernandez? They should pick on someone their own size. That's not warranted for, under any justification.
