I told you the secret is to submarine them AFTER they've already left their feet. You're not a dirty player, you're just slow and didn't get there in time.
Yet they don't get disqualified like the Chinese, S.Korean, or Indonesian badminton players do. British cyclists purposefully fall to get a restart. Japanese women's team starts its bench and is told not to score. They get no punishment either.
Only reason why I hated watching basketball during the Olympics, everytime the clock was winding down Chris Paul was there about to drive, mind you lowering his shoulder in preparation for contact, the opposing team's defender would get in the way and flop. Ergo offensive foul, defensive should not just be "flopping". Taking a charge is completely different. By flopping all the time it shows you that you can move in front of someone at the right time and slide back to create a turn over. You don't have to play actual defense. The freak is that? Dislike watching FIBA basketball solely on that reason.
Something irks me about one man touching an another man crotch intentionally...regardless of the reason Batum...Dont be a "_____"...there are other ways to get a flagrant foul...
Me too: "I'll Flop You Up" Not sure I'd like to see that though. The stupid thing about this foul and Turiaf's foul was that they were unnecessary. They still had a chance, albeit low. Reminds me of the 06 WC when Zidane headbutted the Italian dude and got the red card. Keep your head on straight.
So why not punch him in the face instead? Because it's considered much more aggressive? Or because groin shots are so in right now?
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/LC-H2wXK4T4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I ran into this lookin for Euro b-ball flops... the fake headbutts are hilarious!
Exactly, if batum had done that to a USA player people here would be calling for his head. But since it was against a Spaniard its "ok because the Spanish were flopping"
Still a punk move to hit him in the groin. That isn't called for in Basketball. If he wants to deck him some other way, then do it, by all means. Looks like players will be wearing CUPS to the Olympics from here on out.
