Glad Nico is a Drew Rosenhaus client. Drew is all about getting his clients paid, as he should, but he’s also cares about their happiness and careers.
Nah. He was featured on Miami Hard Knocks. When one of his players was injured he went to the hospital with him and informed him mom on everything. Also during Tyreek Hills(Tyreke Hill explained in a podcast) contract negotiations with the chiefs he wanted to stay in KC and would’ve accepted less money than what Miami offered. Drew wanted him in KC but KC traded him. I bring this up to contrast how Drew handles his clients with someone like David Mugelta who wouldve had Nico hold out during pre season for a new deal and ask for a redo at the end of the year. fyi, Tyreek had his deal adjusted after all the $30mil WR signing this summer. He didn’t hold out and he didn’t make a fuss. It was handled behind the scenes. The deal Drew got him was just more guaranteed money on his current deal.
Once the season is over and Nico proves to be top3 WR. Texans will probably readjust his contract to include more guaranteed money.
If teams knew what Nico was going to do in the league , he may have been a first round top 15 pick in hindsight
I remember a game review that year of Davis Mills. It included bold takeaway that Nico was looking great constantly beating the D on routes, but was wasted never getting the ball. It was a diss at Mills and Pep for not being good. But was confident that Nico was a keeper despite injuries. How obviouly correct that was
