Nico earned it and I am sure will continue earning it.

    Nice job, Nick.

    Please stay healthy.

That also goes for every player, but Nico has a track-record.

I like this extension and the Schultz contract. Tank Dell will be in his second year of his contract and Diggs is a very nice wildcard (in terms of how long he will be a Texan).

Which is to say, Stroud has a pretty nice, mostly consistent receiving corp for his rookie contract window.

Some things will go well and some won't, but I like the odds with the depth of this team Caserio has put together.

I wouldn’t say bargain, all things considered Nico is getting market…Justin is a superior talent and best WR in the NFL so he’s obviously gonna get paid much more..

No WR in the NFL is worth what JJ got paid. That is a bad contract for the Vikings, or for any team. They would have been better off trading him for a 1st rounder.

Next up: We'll see if the Bengals pay Jamar Chase even more.

When compared to this madness, Nico's contact is a "bargain".

Glad Nico contract was done before this. Ja'Marr rubbing his hands together, he will be the next highest paid WR after this... $145mil/4yrs with $113mil guarantee. Book it.

I guess it depends on if the salary cap continues to go up in leaps and bounds. If the Vikings think that will be the case, then the amount of money that contract reflects as a percentage will go down. But it's only a 4 year deal, I'm not sure how much it could reasonably go up in that time frame...

Yep all the folks complaining about the signing need to apologize to Nick. Great deal that was awesome then but looks even better now

Would you rather have Collins+Diggs or Jefferson this season?

I agree. He is getting QB Money as a WR. He is the reason they didn't resign a very good QB in Cousins.

Contracts like these typically don't end well in any fashion

As long as CJ remains healthy, expect this to continue. He'll get every WR he plays with PAID.

The Stroud effect is real, It may be prudent after CJ gets his big contract to just let every WR he makes look amazing walk to pay the defense, like with Brady and Mahomes.
