    That doesn't make a lot of sense...Tapatia is an adjective describing things from the Guadalajara, Mexico, area (where bigtexxx used to work, coincidentally...).

    It would be like calling the team, the Houston New Yorkers or something...doesn't make sense

    If we really wanted to name our new soccer team with a moniker that salutes Latino culture in Houston.....

    ....we'd call the team the Houston Joe Campos Torreses or the Houston Pedro Oregons!

    You guys joke about the food names, but my cousin's boyfriend used to work for the Houston Sports Authority and he told me in one meeting, one name that they started throwing around early on was the Houston Tamales.
