    Steve "Step-Back" Novak...

    I like Trey Novak, No-Rim Novak, and "Shoot!". Everytime he gets the ball we could yell his nickname-- "Shoot!"

    Speaking of nicknames, has the horrible trend of having a player's initial combined with his number as nickname officially ended?

    Nothing more annoying than reading fans talking about H20, D12, CB4, CP3, etc. Sound like they are ****ing robots from Starwars.

    Ever notice how good nicknames never have anything to do with the players name itself? Like "Air" Jordan, "Magic" Johnson, "Larry" Bird. Ok, scratch that last one.

    But the nickname should reflect an aspect of his game, or his persona, and it should either sublimely describe him (AIR Jordan), or it should be ironic (like calling a fat guy "slim").

    Really, it doesn't matter what we pick, because some commentator will eventually decide on one for themselves, and thats what we will end up calling him, just from hearing it so often.
