I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing. Say no to any overthehill player. That must stop. The Rockets MUST get younger and more athletic, period.

The best way for the Mavericks to gain an edge is to improve defensively. That is what coach Avery Johnson is working towards. Never say never, but don't look for Van Exel to return.
I didn't read this whole thread so sorry if this is redundant, Van Exel was on 97.9 this morning and he said he only wants to play one more year.
