I miss when the Texans would regularly draft players from non-Power 5 schools that I didn't realize had football programs (not limited to BoB).

Does it mess anyone else's brain up that Caserio and Casserly are so close to each other?

It’s still very early in the rebuild this past year was the first time he had a full draft but still little to no cap.

This year a boatload of picks and cap space

Also in his interviews he always mentions roster allocation cap space allocation and not really being a top heavy roster because players change team so frequently that your back end of the roster has to have guys that are capable and ready to play.

He’s the right man for the job and

    In Caserio we still trust

Considering the shady way he was hired plus his head coaching hiring debacles, I'm reserving judgement on him for the next two years.

Early returns are promising, but the jury is still out. I was about ready to proclaim him a genius for finding a good QB in the 3rd round of his first draft, but that celebration is looking premature so far this season.

Well, he did appear to find three 10 yr starters in the last draft and if Harris is what I think he's going to be that will be a 4th. Then you add Pierce who most likely will be a 1 contract guy and hopefully Metchie makes it back and shows why Caserio gave up a lot to get him. This was a great draft, even if Harris and Metchie aren't all that. I'm betting at least one of those 2 guys will be a long time starter.

I know one thing, BoB is killing the Crimson Tide.

    Absolute garbage.

Of course they were never trading them. Who starts these dumbass rumors?

    Jaycee Horn is 23
    Derrick Brown is 24
    Brian Burns is 24
    D.J. Moore is 25
    Jeremy Chinn is 24
    Terrace Marshall Jr. is 22

That’d be like “Texans fire Lovie Smith; Derek Stingley, Jalen Pitre, Dameon Pierce, Kenyon Green, Nico Collins are available.” … No. No they’re not.

Does anyone trust Nick to turn this around? The guy handpicked by Easterby?

He chose the one coach whose system would end up misusing Stingley, and his draft hits are at RB and safety, the two positions that teams churn through the most.

I’m starting to have my doubts. None of the first 5 picks have made an impact this year…pretty hard to do.

Cooks has been mishandled twice in 6 months. First he was overpaid and then they should have gone ahead and traded him.

Some decent FA signings (Collins, King, Nelson) but plenty of misses here too.

Normally it would be exciting to finally be under the cap but I’m not sure why a big name free agent would want to come here.

He will have cap space this off season so hopefully no more Walmart shopping.
