Let’s see if Zack Kromer comes along with him. Would be great if Nate Scheelhaase comes too but that’s a long shot.
It’s a new day. Already looking forward to next season. Now, go get some new O linemen and a WR and we are set.
Okay great, best case scenario is 2 years from now we will be back searching for a new OC, because Caley would have gotten hired as HC.
I'm not gonna bother googling his coaching tree, but it seems Sean McVay's offensive assistants tend to do well when they leave for the next step.
Worst case, he's gone after the season because he was terrible... best case, he's gone after the season because he was good.
This guy better be good. Move the ball and score TDs. Be able to adjust on a game to game basis. We will see.
Caley showed some situational awareness by passing on OC jobs with the Patriots last year and the Jets during this hiring cycle. This tells me he won't just leap at any head coaching opportunity that is out there.
Don't know about him to have a yay or nay opinion, but I'm glad it wasn't an internal hire like others have said here. I think that's a big positive. Hoping he is better than Slowik, and that may not be hard to do!
I'm on board with this until there's reason not to be. I don't know enough about him to have strong feelings one way or the other.
