    masaraff's on post oak is nice. we went there for our one yr anniversary since we were staying at the omni and we enjoyed it. not extremely pricey, food was good, service nice and overall very good.

    I had my prom dinner there... $50 for a tiny piece of steak but it is a nice place

    My wife and I enjoy going to The Ruggles Grill . It's not cheap but it's not crazy expensive, either.

    The service can be hit or miss sometimes.

    anyone been to robert gadsby's new reataurant in the heights, bedford? would love to check that one out

    REEF in midtown. Fresh gulf seafood inventively prepared with some nice sides, and some great sliders (the owners are opening a slider stand in the old Ming's location at Westheimer and Montrose).

    Plus the atmosphere is fantastic. But I may be biased because I was interning with the architects while the place was being designed.

    Ibiza (best/most honest wine list in the city)
    Mia Bella (old school italian)
    Sage 400 or 713 Sushi (two best sushi places i've seen besides in San Fran)
    Indika (rated the best Indian in the nation, but not traditional)
