I think the most physically gifted player is Moss, with Owens a close second. That being said, Moss has admitted that he's taken plays off. I cvan imagine he and Owens short arming it across the middle.

I'll take Harrison. I think his stats would be even better if he didn't have to share the ball.

Where's Mason? That Bennett guy seemed pretty good to me as well.

I'll take Marvin Harrison for the block. TO and Moss are freaks, but Harrison runs (precise) routes around them.

If it's 3rd and 10, I want Starvin Marvin out there.
    If it's 3rd and 25, I want Moss out-jumping the DBs.
If it's 3rd and goal, I want TO setting up shop in the end zone (or possibly Moss out-jumping everyone in the corner of the end zone).

BTW, Hines Ward is easily THE most underappreciated WR in the league.

Damn, knew I forgot someone, put Mason around the 9 spot, any WR who can catch a football 3 yards out of the back of the end zone and still get the TD call shouldn't be left out.

Good list but you also forgot Steve Smith. He is definatly more than a one year wonder.

Owens has shaky hands. He also is very inconsistent. No way is he the best in the NFL. He might be the best at running after the catch, but he's not really much of a route runner, other than going across the middle and working the sidelines. I also don't know if he can catch the deep ball.

When he cares, Randy Moss is the best in the league, and it's not even close.

It's too hard to quantify who is best, so I will say I think the 3 best are Moss, Holt, and Harrison in any order.

Stats are really useless in a debate like this, when you consider that the WRs do not play the same competition at the same time, as well as having different offenses, QBs, game situations, etc.

Was this list from 3 years ago? Rod Smith is on the side of a milk carton.

Might as well toss in Ernest Givens.

I just don't see how Harrison can be the best receiver, when he wouldn't get off the line if people would press him.

I agree with the point about Owens, he's just such a gamebreaker even if he's not the most complete receiver. I'd think Moss is the most complete.

I agree with the folks who say Hines Ward is underrated. If he had a real QB he would be a monster.

i put the top 4 and then a guy that i simply think is great. obviously he's not what he used to be...but i think if the focus was on him he could compete up here.

You might want to let the 30 or so NFL defensive coordinators know that it is so simple to stop Harrison, since him getting 90 catches a year tends to indicate that he is not having any trouble getting off the line.

Yeah I agree, but it just seems people don't play him physical enough. Who does he struggle against or when does he have bad games?
