Yeah, you're wrong. Some stats for you:
    1) Eli was the MVP of both of his Super Bowl wins
    2) He's a 4x pro bowler
    3) He has the NFL record for most fourth-quarter touchdown passes in a season

He can be streaky and he throws a lot of picks, but to call him a game manager is wrong.

I thought he left his head (and hands) back in Miami.

Wait ... what? He had magical game-winning drives in both of those Superbowls, both resulting in TDs with less than a minute to go, one of them against an 18-0 team. For those two runs, he was outstanding all through the postseason, with 16 TDs and 2 INTs. He led 4th quarter or OT game-winning drives in 5 of the 8 games. He was arguably pretty mediocre during the seasons, but his postseasons were as good as you could ever ask for.

He did as much or more in his 2 Superbowl wins than Tom Brady did in his first 3 Superbowls, when he was also carried by a great defense and generally not asked to do to much but had great game-winning drives at the end.

It was a joke... cause Jags are going to hire an ex-Bill head coach and your username is buffalobills... but nevermind...someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

At this point, a Cowboys win would be a nice surprise but I'm not expecting one. But, I'm not sure I expect the kind of whipping that GB put on NY there. One could argue that the NY secondary got smoked and the Cowboys secondary isn't as good...so we could be in more trouble.

The bottom line is controlling the clock. Everyone knows NY's offense was mostly off this season and they were mostly relegated to the big plays via Beckham. They could not run the ball. Therefore, they cannot control the clock. I think the GB-DAL game really comes down to if the Cowboys execute their offense and keep Aaron off the field as much as possible. That's how we won the West. You are not going to beat GB by trading touchdowns all game long with Aaron. The Cowboys should have an advantage playing at home but we know how that goes.

I'm full well prepared for the Cowboys to lose because that is what the more recent playoff experiences taught us to expect. However, the Cowboys have to remember that beatdown they got in GB not so long ago in the playoffs and are prepared to return the favor. If they lay an egg, then there are no excuses...other than they weren't good enough. The two rookies are going to have to get us over the hump with help from the rest of the team. A lot will be determined by how the o-line does because sometimes they just don't show up. They need to be the dominant o-line that we've seen...not the weak one that shows up from time-to-time.

Looks like the Texans just won the 2017 afc south already.

I'm no Marrone lover, or even follower, but why do people think he's a bad coach? because he was let go from a Bills team where he went 9-7 with Kyle Orton as his starting QB? Sadly for Bills fans, that ties the best regular season record they've had since 1999. They've had two 9-7 seasons in the past 17 seasons.

Also, bear in mind, 9-7 and pretty much overachieving is effectively what Bill O'Brien does.

Also they hired Coughlin as an executive...

It's certainly more likely we're going to say Jags still being Jags in 3 years than they've won the division, but I think they could have done a lot worse, and as a Texans fan kind of wish they reached on some assistant - most of which would fail just because of that team and environment.

I just don't fear anyone taking the Texans spot in afc south. Even with a below average qb

Understandably not from the Jags. But they can get better.

The Titans have already caught up to 9-7. And it's unlikely the Texans run the table again against their AFC south opponents. And at some point the Colts will get enough talent and coaching around Luck.
