This game was bound to be boring, 2 game manager QB's facing solid defenses with one of the QB's missing their primary RB. If AD could get into the end zone, this game could be out of reach.
this game could get interesting if vikes score another fg. otherwise, seattle's winning this and scoring the next td. money down, all day. russell wilson is magic but loves the drama.
Open your eyes: Wilson's 24 TDs and 1 INT over the last 7 games wasn't game managing. He was crazy good. Bridgewater is indeed a game manager. Today, the cold weather has dumbed things down so much they are equal.
He's getting exposed today without Lynch against a good defense. Usually the Seahawks play super safe and run the ball which opens up some easy passes for Wilson and when that's not there he runs it himself. He really is a game manager type even though his wheels makes him a big better than the average game manager. Also, "game manager" isn't a pejorative label, it's just a description. Alex Smith is a game manager and he beat the wheels off the Texans yesterday.
It's nice to see that even top athletes can be humbled by the cold . This is pure football here , not a lot of fancy schemes and spread offenses . Seattle's best play has been the read option . In low scoring games a single play seems much more important and a touchdown can completely flip the strategy used by either team .
Sure, but that doesn't say very much. I don't think anyone would argue otherwise, unfortunately the Seahawks offense is completely reliant on the run game and Lynch is out which means they simply don't have the players they need to score. That said, take AD out and the Vikings look a LOT worse than the Seahawks do right now
He hasn't had Lynch in weeks and the Seahawks haven't "played it safe" in a while. You're just being yourself by digging in against the facts. Russell Wilson has gone to another level and you calling him a game manager repeatedly doesn't change that. I new said the term was pejorative. No idea what you are talking about. I'm not a big fan of Russell Wilson.
"Game manager" Teddy Bridgewater just saved the Vikings 3 points because he was able to elude the initial sack. In his 2nd season Teddy is about to lead the Vikings to an NFC North championship over Aaron Rodgers and beat the defending 2-time NFC Champions in the Playoffs. If the Texans had drafted this "game manager" we would have won at least 10 games this year and would have stood a much better chance against the Chiefs yesterday. We also wouldn't be in panic mode going into the offseason, as our QB search would have already been completed.
Are you even aware Lynch missed their last 7 games? Wilson stepped it up since then. They aren't the same team. The weather is the problem today.
Even without Lynch, they've only had 1 game this season with less than 100 rushing yards....and they lost that game. They are super reliant on their run game and it's not working very well today thus their offense isn't working very well today.
You just have to expect that from super delusional and brand new Vikings fans. He's doing the best he can.
You are joke. 24/1 wasn't just because of their running game. It's because he became their #1 playmaker after Lynch left. Russell Wilson played like a superstar the last 7 games. He was nothing like a game manager. You won't admit it because you are you. It's 2016, not 2013.
and i posted earlier wilson loves the drama. seattle's finishing this off with another td. vikes can score another fg if the can or want to cause it won't matter. best qb in the nfl.
