I kinda think they bust through this year... They play Indy right...??? Cincinnati's defense isn't garbage and Luck hasn't looked great lately and TY and Reggie are banged up, and I don't believe Indy's defense can stop Jeremy Hill... But, It's still Cincinnati.
Just me or are the WC games worse than usual this year? The only game I'm interested in is the cowboys-lions game. The other games are pretty lame. a team starting Ryan Lindley vs. a team that doesn't have a winning record a division rematch which means it's the 3rd game this season pitting the two teams together The habitual playoff fodder that is the Bengals, against a pretty weak team IMO in the Colts.
Last year's wild card games were very good. Colts comeback victory over the Chiefs, Saints upset Eagles, and 49ers beating the Packers in Lambeau Field. Who knows what's going to happen in this year's wild card playoffs.
A game I'll never forget. But it won't happen this year without Bell. If he can play next week, Go Steelers!
FWIW, all 14 of the ESPN "experts" pick the Cowboys, 13 pick the Steelers (despite Bell's absence), 12 pick the Panthers and they are split down the middle on Bengals at Colts.
I think people are really underestimating the Cardinals. They struggled down the stretch, but Lindley seems to be improving a bit, and that defense can win them a game 14-10. Carolina's defense has been good down the stretch, but they've played some medicore teams and struggled with some of them (Tampa Bay and Cleveland, both at home).
Lindley threw a TD in his last game off of a trick play. He still had 2 picks. He's pretty terrible. I can see a 14-10 Arizona win, but I'm not touching this game.
I am leaning towards Panthers due to them being the home team , QB is Lindley not Stanton or Palmer. Both games today very physical teams. Especially the Bal/Pit game.
This is a pretty weak slate of playoff games for opening weekend, I have to say. This Cardinals-Panthers game might set football back 20 years.
Little to no desire to watch the Panthers game....but since it's on ESPN and I'm at work, I'll catch it on my phone thanks to the app.
Lions v. Cowboys is stars galore. Ravens v. Pitt is always a dog fight. Andrew Luck is a show by himself. What are you smoking?
