24-7. Wow. Two overrated teams I thought. (Although the Colts haven't been the same since losing Wayne and they don't have much of a running game.) Chiefs taking it to them. (And no Charles)
Lotta game left to play, and the Colts couldn't play much worse. I think this one is gonna be close in the end, but I'm prepared to eat crow.
Alex Smith is a good example why the term "game manager" means nothing. If he has time to pass and his receivers are making plays he can throw for over 300 yards just like anyone else. This guy is also smart about not making stupid passes, when to throw the ball away and when to run.
He's also running a fair amount of read option and showcasing some improv shovel passes. Smith is the perfect example of a QB who will excel once he gets great coaching. His initial years in SF were wasted with incompetent guys.
Colts are horrible. They are a fluke team, been that way since last year. Only won the division this year because the AFC South is crap.
They beat SF, SEA, DEN and KC this season. What other team has done all that? Though I will say, I don't think Luck can win a game by himself, unlike Peyton. Luck needs his HBs to do something, in the second half.
The colts defense is ****. And they need at least a competent offensive line to go anywhere in the playoffs
