All too true. I think I might just follow the Bengals from a distance this year. Still keep tabs on em, but not get too wrapped up in the ups (lol) and downs of this season. It's not good for my mental health.
I saw that thanks to direct tv showing the games for free today. What is the problem with the offense? Crazy finish though. Best finish I have ever seen.
I'm just amazed at how far that offense has fallen. I remember when the media were comparing them to the Indy offense from a few years ago.
First song on iTunes after the Bengals game: Guy Clark - All Through Throwin' Good Love After Bad Definitely a sign.
offensive coord is a moron. he always runs, runs, pass. its his motto. even if its 2nd and 9, which it usually is, he runs on 2nd down. our weapons are our wide outs, stop running the damn ball so much!
It's a good finish but last years Chiefs vs Chargers game had an amazing finish, Rivers scored like 2 td's in a minute for the comeback win. Texans vs Phins was an awesome finish too. Damn donkos.
Okay I just want to say that if the QB crosses the line of scrimmage to throw a pass and it is intercepted, that the should not be allowed to decline the penalty. Why? Because it is then an illegal pass, and not allowed. How can you all an interception on that ball, but not a pass? That is stupid.
Wow I didn't know that was how the playcalling went in Cincy. I never get to watch them living in South Carolina. It is amazing with the wideouts you guys have had that they run the ball as much as they do. I had high hopes Chris Henry really stepping up this year.
Remember Vick can't play until week 3. If McNabb is still out I think Kolb will start week 3 unless Kolb gets hurt in week 2. I didn't see the end of those games so this game was by far the best I have seen watching it live. Bengals must feel like **** right now. The best finish ever is probably the Saints and Jaguars from a few years ago for so many reasons. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kTGco82JKHo&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kTGco82JKHo&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Keep in mind at this time the Saints needed to keep their playoff hopes alive. Would have been eliminated anyway since the team they needed to lose ended up winning. Still a great finish though.
Mark Sanchez is right in line with the QB path of good intial performance, gaining praise saying all the right things with an upbeat attitude, being the son you never had and the guy who'd be cool to hang out with. Lifting his team leading them to early success. Gets a lot of interviews, makes some commercials, dates a supermodel/pop star/actress....and is then hated and jeered by many and generally considered a "douche" by his 3rd season.
I think he'll try to play next week. The question is, how effective can he be with the injury. Personally, I think they should sit him until after the bye week. I think they can win these next two games without him.
