Vince was benched because of one game.......honestly Fisher went too far....he should have brought him back last year when healthy..... Vince should not lose his job due to injury..... DD
the way Slaton has been putting the ball on the ground, hell yes i want to see a change. Moats isn't a world beater, but he showed he can hold on to the ball. it's not a big sample size but i'm more comfortable with Moats carrying than Slaton, for now.
So does Trent Dilfer... and on... and on.. and on. I personally think if the Titans aren't gunning for a title, Vince is the right call. He can move, he has some intangibles, etc. Collins is worthless on a bad team, but obviously can pilot an elite team a little better. The Titans are bad... real bad... so let Vince do whatever he can to fix it and let Kerry start collecting social security.
Well maybe not to the house, but would have certainly gotten far. Weddle totally went in for the hit. I guess there was a penalty anyway though.
I highly doubt Vince lost his job just because of injury. You don't think it's because Fisher feels Collins is the better player? Titans did win 13 games last year with Colins at QB.
Nothing on this board stats a tinkling contest like Vince Young. There is no political figure that is more polarizing.
It was a good idea by Higgins, DHB just had no idea what Higgins was trying to do until the ball fell on the ground. I'm picking up Fargas tomorrow on the waiver wire.
Not sure on what planet attempting a 50+ yard field goal in cold weather, when you're down five late in the fourth, is a better option than just going for it. McCarthy's nuts shriveled up, big time. By the way, that two-point conversion pass where Grant couldn't catch a ball tossed into his lap from a yard away could be huge.
It blows my mind how stupid men can be who get paid millions. 3rd and 11, game on the line, and you're going to let one of the other team's top receivers go unchecked for 10 yards? Are you freakin' kidding me?
It's funny that people continue to argue about it, because the facts are on the table and there's not much left to debate until we get a lot more evidence. And here comes one game and the VY contingency come out swinging ready to start a fire and turn over cars in the streets. Bottom line: I'm glad he's not the Texans QB and I don't think he will ever be an elite player in the league. If he ever does become one, I'll gladly say I was wrong, but so far, it ain't happened; and as a Texans fan I'm quite happy with how things have turned out without him.
I think the thing is . .. alot of folx WON'T ever say they were wrong Same thing with Mario . . . Rocket River
And exactly who am I arguing with by just posting my own thoughts to no one in particular? I'm not going to argue about VY with anyone... it's pointless.
Except this season, now that he sucks again and Vince is back leading the Titans to Glory. WORST PICK EVER.
