Efficient game for VY today. Good. A Jaguars loss helps the Texans.

I'm more than happy that the Titans decided to put 2 and 2 together and beat a fellow division opponent.

At this point, I'd rather the Jags lose than VY fail. Also, they get their first win out of the way, so that they are still ripe for the blowout on MNF in 2 weeks...

I go to a school that hates Texas just about as much as anyone else in the nation. I couldn't care less about VY or the Titans.

I've started to root for VY and the Titans because of the hilariously dumb hating of VY by so many people on this BBS. People have repeatedly acted like he's done jack **** in his career despite the fact that he was Rookie of the Year, took his team to the playoffs in his second year, and only lost his job in the third year due to an injury and a fluke run led by an elite defensive team.

VY might end up sucking but it's laughable that people act like he's been a complete piece of crap in the league.

After today, VY 19-11 as a starter in the NFL.
After today, Kerry Collins 13-12 as a starter in Tennessee.

I would fire Jeff Fisher for how badly he botched the VY situation.

Well, Chris Johnson is just an OK back and has no business rushing over 200 yards against anybody.

I wonder how Nice Rollin feels about him today?

    1) There are more VY fluffers on this BBS than any place outside of a hornfans website...

    2) Its been widely recognized he didn't do much to earn his Pro Bowl trip (down year for AFC QBs, and many of those who did get invited declined), and the Titans were a juggernaut that was winning despite him, not because of him... which Collins proved.

    3) Its selective memory to say he "lost his job due to injury". He played like garbage, pouted about it, and quit on his team. None of that is up for debate.

    4) In a team sport like football, W/L is the most meaningless number there is... and it's the only thing the VY fluffers can point to in any argument, which has been rehashed and debunked a billion times on CF.net

Like I said, some just can't wait to start this crap again... why? one game into it? seriously? VY is barely an issue on CF anymore... so I'm abstaining. It's a dead horse. No one is changing their mind about a damn thing on this. Happy the Jags lost, Go Texans.

Not to be rude but . . . .Aren't Texans Fans seemingly ready to Promote Moats
to Running back Godhood behind . .1 game?

Ready to throw Slaton under the bus

****. They had the hook and lat play drawn to perfection, just barely missed it.

Damn. DHB would have taken that and flown to the house.

    I am so pissed
I benched Rodgers because Phillip Rivers was playing against OAKLAND . . .
    FRICKING OAKLAND!!!

    I figured he'd hang 30 on them . . . .
    *sigh*
Alas I over estimated Rivers and underestimated Oakland

Yet the team wins more with Young then Collins. Its quite possible that the numbers don't tell the whole story with Vince.

I dont think they will throw Slaton under the bus, he is an asset to the team and still can be and should be utilized. Moats played another game this year had 56 yards on 15 carries not great but he has been able to gain yards when given an opportunity.

Hey, wins and losses aren't important when it comes to evaluating a player in the NFL!

    Um, no.

The basic point is you're assuming people are ready to bench Slaton based on one game, when there's a half season worth of evidence to demote him or reduce his role.

There is no "your guy"/"our guy" debate here.
