they've taken what should be an interesting story/game to me hoping a tornado rips through lambeau today (before the stands are full, of course).
they just interviewed some packer from the 50s/60s who said seeing favre in purple will haunt him the rest of his life and called him a traitor. they took down all the pictures in the house of the family with favre. throat cancer did not give that guy perspective.
ESPN is filth. I can't believe they ran with this story. Tom Cable is a wife-beater? I gotta be honest, I really do not care. I'm not turning on ESPN to hear about Tom Cables personal life. ESPN should clean up their own backyard before running this "hard copy" journalism. This **** has nothing to do with sports. /daily espn gripe.
That was what I was thinking. It's a game, guys. I know there isn't crap to do in Green Bay, but find a hobby.
That was a bit odd I must say. I think somebody really has it in for Tom Cable, maybe Randy Hanson has friends in high places.
Basically it's a story they ripped directly from their show "Outside the Lines" which does some interesting reporting. I'm on the fence about it, but I don't think I mind them running the story. It isn't "football" per say, but if ESPN didn't talk about the personal troubles (Vick, Stallworth, etc) of athletes... then who would?
It seemed like to me they called him a wife beater...and then they said he isn't a wife beater but had used abusive language or some crap. wth? lol
Eli is not really proving that he was worth that BIG extension. He should make his current receivers better.
