THIS X100. The product now is a horrible mess of media and marketing that I cant stand watching and have it shoved down my throat anymore. I cant go one single day without something NFL related thrown into my face every day.
I was like WTF, when people said that the Niners had great management and a good organization. They haven't had great organization and good management, since the 90s. The Yorks have been absolutely terrible and went through coaches, like crazy. It was Baalke and Harbaugh who turned that team around with Harbaugh getting most of the credit. The Niners are about to be bad for another decade unless they get a really good head coach and/or Kaepernick turns into an all-pro QB.
Can't believe this thread is only 2 pages long. I can talk about Marshawn Lynch all day. He is very fun to watch.
how would the u.s feel if england sent the wolverhamton wanderers to play a game here to promote the english premier league. this is sickening.
Thing is, Jacksonville has agreed to be the "home team" and do this every year. They don't mind losing a true home game because they have such a terrible fan base. No other team wants to lose a home game. Also, Rex Ryan is a terrible head coach. Down 14 and inside the Jags 10 in the 4th quarter and he kicks a field goal instead of going for it. You're still down 2 td's, dumbass.
Bills just aren't meant to win this one. Killer fumble by McCoy but who could blame him after that hit.
It'll never happen, but they should make the team with the #1 pick play in London a year or two later. For example, the team that gets the #1 pick this season should play in London in 2017 or 2018 and give up the home game. That would let the game theoretically feature an up & coming young talent and also would provide some disincentive for tanking.
This was the tweet before the game: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">As the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Jaguars?src=hash">#Jaguars</a> kickoff against the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Bills?src=hash">#Bills</a>, I’m told coach Gus Bradley is considered safe this year AND next year.
