While I agree that what your saying is very possible. The flight of the ball looked to be completely true. It did not really slice or hook in any direction that could was more than due to a force of a slight wind or breeze gust. Given the object (hand) affecting the flight of the ball would have done so near the start of its arc (nearly immediately after the kick), one would have expected a much larger change in end degree change or velocity (and thus distance change). Again, it is possible, but looking at a replay of the flight of the ball highly improbable.
He is not a physicist. Remember, your question was "are you a physicist or something?" DonnyMost answered yes because he is "something".
Ravens gave up over 500 yards of offense to the Bills?!? This is interesting considering everyone expected a bulldozer type defense.
Roddy White: 54 receptions, 747 yards, 5 TD's. > Andre Johnson: 32 receptions, 488 yards, 2 TD's. Seems pretty clear to me...
I agree with this. The redirection of trajectory is very possible, but the ball made a couple of hooks in air that could've simply been caused by the natural force of the kick mixed in with a breeze, or something.
Having better numbers not even halfway through one season is different than being the best WR in the NFL. If you believe that your guy is the best WR, if he tweaks something and misses a game or two and another WR surpasses his numbers, does that suddenly change your opinion that he's the best WR? A better choice of words and nobody would be arguing with you.
pulling for the Vikings tonight (only due to fantasy football) I have Ryan Longwell, she has Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay D/ST
I don't know if Roddy has played every game, but AJ has been hobbled with an ankle injury and even sat out a game, so your claim even if there is an ounce of truth to it at this point of the season, has an asterisk. But I'd still pick AJ over Roddy every day of the week and especially twice on Sunday.
Sweet run there. Nice read and hesitation. He practically went to a stand still waiting for an opening.
