Jeebus, I knew this game would be good, but crap man. I had a ML play on the Vikings for +230 to win. Not confident, but what a deal! I don't mind the Vikes losing, but doing so by shooting yourself in the foot is just irritating as hell. Damn you Chester Taylor!!!!!
I might have missed it (it was probably brought up in the houston game thread), but in one game Crabtree surpassed Heyward-Bey.
Dude, the Raiders fullback they signed off the street last week had double the catches in 1 game that Heyward-Bey had all year. Not to hard to catch 4 passes.
The worst part of that game was the BS tripping call early in the 4th qtr that negated that Favre to Rice touchdown. That was the worst call I've seen all year. The vikings are the best team in the league. Their coach is an idiot though. Need to feed Peterson the ball more. He was a man against boys out there today. Favre looked good, just a few bad breaks.
And seeing Crabtree's nice performance today has to make that pick all the more frustrating for Raiders fans. Although, to be fair, Jerry Rice in his prime wouldn't look that good with Russell at QB.
Russell is horrible, but Heyward-Bey is so bad he can't even figure out how to get open, and even if he does, theres hardly any chance he's going to catch the ball because he has no hands, and Russell probably wouldn't hit him anyway. If you go back to the draft thread, you'll probably notice I gave up on the season when they announced we picked that piece of ****.
Wow. The Jets fake it and the Punter has 10 Raiders running with him downfield. this is comedy at its finest.
For the Crabtree/Heyward-Bey discussion If the Raiders drafted Crabtree he could struggle their just like Heyward-Bey is struggling. Maybe not as bad but he probably would struggle.
It's early, but the Bengals sure look good against the Bears. It makes the Texans win seem all the more solid. This should help us in the BCS...wait...
I didn't want either of them. Crabtree is obviously the better talent, but his diva act was annoying. Al Davis just needs to die. Nothing else will save the Raiders.
