Ultimately, you're right. Taylor just wasn't clutch. I just didn't agree with the screen call on 1st down. I would have ran a draw. I would have taken a shot at the end zone on second, and then, if neither worked, a screen on third. But that's why I'm not an NFL coach, or coordinator. And yes, **** does happen. On a side note, I have no idea why a team with an athletic QB doesn't split them out in the wildcat, motion them, and hand the ball off to them for one of three options: a.)a keeper b.) a RB(who is lined up behind center) screen across the field or c.) a deep ball.
AP's numbers were skewed by runs of 19 and 14 yards. Without those two long runs that bolstered his YPC to 3.8 his numbers on the ground for the day were 16 carries for 36 yards. In other words: he was a complete non-factor on the ground. Yeah, he had the score but that drive was set up and led by Favre -- as was the case for the Vikings offense the entire game.
Forget about the Steelers/Vikings game... I have an important announcement, that I beg people not to ignore. Vote JaMarcus into the Pro Bowl Everyone must do their part! YOU can make a difference.
FAIL on the author assuming the 2010 Pro Bowl will be in Hawaii. Regardless, I'm sending him to Miami
Awesome now if we can only get Delhomme to go for the NFC then we're all set for the best matchup ever!
I never, ever bought into the reggie hype, (yes, I wanted VY ) and have laughed at Bush's futile attempt at living up to his own hype. but, damn, that was impressive.
Is tonight the night Westbrook has a break out game? He looked pretty quick/healthy last week. I think his ankle issues may now be behind him.
He averaged 8.3 yards per carry and 10.1 yards per reception versus the Raiders and some how Andy Reid found a way to get him less and less touches as the game progressed. We'll see.....
That Bush TD has to be the play of the year. He jumped from the 6 yard line off is right foot. That the equilavent of an nba player going from the free throw line (with full pads on?). Looks like he may finally be getting healthy. That was spectacular.

Larry Johnson has been trying to get away from Kansas City for the past 3 years, and it still hasn't happened. Now it seems likely one of the most hated guys is poised to become the Chiefs all-time leading rusher. He's only like 75 yards away.
I'll give you props moes, you were big on Jackson when the Eales drafted him last year and I was low. I love the little guy.
