1. Saints 2. Colts 3. Broncos 4. Steelers 5. Vikings 6. Patriots 7. Bengals 8. Cardinals 9. Packers 10. Eagles
Would it be fun if Colts and Saints both go undefeated and meet in the super bowl? Then the dolphin curse would be broken forever.
Sucks to be a Raiders fan... In 1 game Michael Crabtree has more receptions (5 rec. 56 yards) than Darius Heyward-Bey does in all 7 games (4 rec.64 yards)
1) Saints 2) Colts 3) Steelers 4) Vikings 5) Broncos 6) Pats 7) Bengals 8) Giants 9) Cardinals 10) Tie Packers/Cowboys
Well I'm not sure that's entirely Heyward-Bey's fault. I mean, he does need somebody to actually get him the ball.
Pun, 1) I am Texans guy and the fact is still true Steelers are the DEFENDING SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONS coming off an impressive win against the undeafeated Vikings a team many here thought was perhaps the best in the league. Steelers defense is the best in the league, scored more TDs in one quarter yesterday then what many of the teams did in one full game. 2) Saints look suspect to me because their defense is not an elite unit like Steelers, Broncos or even Patriots. They allowed Ricky Williams 3 TDs? Really? Look the Saints are the sweetheart pick of the weak NFC which yields a high win team every year like 2008 Panthers (12-4), 2007 Cowboys (13-3)etc..but these teams get exposed by tougher competetion in the playoffs against better teams outside of their division. Saints are no exception, they sit in a division with the Bucs and Pathers, enough said. Who have they beaten exactly, the Giants and then who? Steelers on the other hand have quality games against Bengals and Vikings, their strength of schedule is much better so far then the cupcake NFC which has been atrocious this year.
Here is the transcript of what was said: Smith said it in one of those I'm joking but not really type of tones.
heard them talking about this on the sports radio this morning... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EWhBwpshxlY&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EWhBwpshxlY&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> if your a fan of the team do you have an issue with this?
Yeah that was one of the most mind boggling extensions I have ever seen. Plus it's not like Jake is young, so a 6 year extension made no sense.
Defending Super Bowl champion might have mattered at the beginning of the season but right now they're not even first in their own division let alone conference. Many people here thought the Vikings were perhaps the best in the league? Who? It's no secret to most that two of the Viking wins have come on sheer luck. I can certainly name 5 teams I would have above them and that's before yesterday's game. You put the Patriot's 16th ranked defense as an elite unit? That's LOL material right there. The Saints have faced the Eagles, Giants, and Jets. Teams with good defense and potent offense and offensive weapons. You talk about NFC and cupcakes and then mention that the Steelers defense scored more touchdowns in a quarter than some teams. Well, I hate to burst your AFC bubble but most of those teams reside in that conference. Jaguars, Chiefs, Raiders, Browns and that's already 25% of the conference. Can I throw in the Bills and Titans for good measure? LOL material again. Did they win that match against the Bengals? And where else did their wins come from? Oh that's right, Titans, Lions, Browns. Oh yeah, that's some tough competition right there. The only other respectable win they can claim is over the Chargers and that is pushing it.
Agreed. If you are a RB and a team gets within sniffing distance of what you are asking for, sign it.
Grendal ~ That's not like that's the worst thing someone's done on the field, you realize that they were players on the field who were either drunk (hung over), or high off of coke and rocks.
They lost to the Bengals on the road, which at this point doesn't look like a bad loss, but the Bears on the road does. And a close game against the Lions on the road. 4-0 at home. That would concern me right now if I was a Steelers fan. They really just haven't dominated any game this year, but they've been able to make the plays when need be at home.
Me personally I could care less to be honest, was just throwing it out there as a general question. If i were a fan of the team I wouldn't care either but was just curious if anyone had any feeling one way or another.
The Saints have 5 defensive TDs. The defense isn't elite, but its good this year, and they have an elite offense.
