Its really killed me. When I watched them last week it was as if Kolb was never even looking in his direction. Whats really weird is that Jackson had 250 yards and 2 TDs in Kolbs 2 starts last season.

You gotta love how Singletary was able to light a fire under Alex Smith's ass, and get him to start playing up to his capabilities in the middle of a game. I don't think I've ever seen Kubiak take a player aside and chew him out on the sideline. Maybe that's the "external" motivation" that Amobi was talking about??

Also, I wonder how bad David Carr soiled himself when he thought he was about to get thrown into that game.....lollerskates

I wonder how good Carr is now?

He played well as a backup in New York. I figure all these years without getting sacked repeatedly allowed him to develop in a better qb.

I realize that but why is it "breaking news" worthy?

I bet Carolina would love to have the white-gloved assassin back considering their woeful QB situation right now.

They benched Carr for Matt Moore because he was THAT bad. They then benched Moore for Jimmy Clausen. So he'd be 3rd string there right now. :)

He's the Texans' 3rd string too, right? So he couldn't beat out Dan Orlovsky either.
