No because if you don't convert it that means it's an 8 point game which is 1 possession. 9 pt lead guarantees the game is a 2 possession game.

Once they got ahead, I kinda wanted the Jets to win to make sure the Vikings would come out smoking next week and end the Cowboys season early. Seriously, with Farve's "distraction" leading to today, tonight's loss to the Jets and with Randy Moss having a week under his belt, I expect the Vikings to explode on the Cowboys. Can't wait. I hope they crush them.
