For my fantasy team to pull out the W, I need AD and the VIkings D to play big, but also allow Donald Driver to nab a TD or 2.

That "summary since replacing a HOF qb" stat was pretty damn interesting.

The Packers would be in this game if not for an atrocious o-line and some dumb mistakes. They were driving really well on that Rodgers fumble on the first possession, as well as the Rodgers interception. Then they get to the one yard line and can't punch it in, compounded by Donald Lee dropping an easy pass. What the hell do they pay you for? That said, the Vikings do look good.

They might have a Houston Texas o-line from a couple years back issue...I don't wanna see Rodgers get hurt or turn into David Carr, but unless they address that they're not going anywhere.

If they can put it together they can still be a playoff team and a threat to upset somebody in the playoffs. But that's a huge if and their offensive line is beyond bad at this point.

In other news, Jared Allen is kind of scary. They zoomed in on him and I saw his eyes and he looks legitimately out of his mind. I'm not even going to mention ***** because we can all look forward to hearing all about him for the next week.

Classic example of why Minnesota signed Favre tonight. This team is balanced enough to compete for a championship right away. What they needed was a game manager of a QB that could take over a game like this on a night where the running game (their bread-and-butter) couldn't carry them. As evidenced by tonight: Favre is capable of doing that.

P.S. Jared Allen: 4.5 sacks? Really???

that guy plays QB for the Vikings is now officially a _____. i don't care what he did in GB anymore. you don't play and celebrate with the enemies. traitor!!! i'm going to piss on his jersey.

as for GB, what the hell are they doing with the O-line? all those fumbles and INT are caused by the pass rush. can't they freaking find dudes that aren't so timid?

That Green Bay offensive line is actually an offensive line. I wonder if they have worked out Runyan at all. He's available.

just an unbelievable start by favre given he practically skipped training camp.

he probably wouldn't be nearly as good if he played in dallas, though. lol

Was pretty good last year too until he got hurt. I think the vikings should be careful with him.

Yeah, Rodgers won't survive the season if teams can continue to just tee off on him the way they were able to last night. Lost in all the hoopla of Favre dominating was how good Rodgers played (and is). Would be a real shame to see his season cut short due to injury.

Favre looking really good, as predicted. Where is The Cat? Oh that's right, he only shows up when convienient. Favre had a phenomenal game on a national stage, we prolly won't see him post for a week or so...

No. I will not. He attacked me first when I mentioned, this SUMMER that I thought Favre would have a great season with Minnesota. We have a $200 bet on the line, and I will not back away at this point. I don't care if he's a good guy or not. He acts like a sports know it all and he attacked me for my opinion, so its on. I gave him the option to apologize, admit he was wrong and make a contribution to the tip jar and I would call the bet and the grudge off, but he refused and only antagonized me even more and doubled the bet.
