Mariota continues to respond immediately after his miscues or the team's , miscue. That's the signature of a great player. He doesn't get down and generally the offense has been moving in the direction of the end-zone all season. They look sharp. No fummbles today and limited sacks to improve on last week.
What's up with elite QBs going down to injuries so early in the season? First Romo, then Brees, and now Roethlisberger. Bad luck hitting so many teams.

Cam Newton claimed a ref told him he wasnt "old" enough to get a roughing the passer call you can be like me and substitute old for another word, but if this turns out to be true, that ref should be fired in my opinion.
Shaping up as a dud of a SNF game... two teams that are probably a lot better on paper than they are in reality. Word is Stafford is pretty much universally unliked by his teammates... the line is sure protecting him tonight as if they want him killed.
Coming off a 11-5 season? #1 overall pick at QB.... Top 3 WR in his prime? Opportunistic young defense (they did lose Suh)? This team is built like a fair-weather Texans fan's wet dream. But yeah, I agree... they're not that good (and the head coach is a big part of it). Stafford is overrated. Megatron will be injured again soon. And the defense has been getting worn out by being on the field so much.
The was a Bob McNair blunder. Rick "the errand boy" Smith was just following orders like he's always done. Texans need to hire a legit GM and give him true power over personnel.
