Sorry, can't help but hype this guy. in ten weeks of starting, jammal charles put up 1100 yards on a staggering 5.9 ypc avg. this guy is going to be special. I thought he was ridiculously underrated coming out of texas, should have been a serious heisman canidate his senior year.
I thought he left after his junior year. we would have been in the title game and not lost to tech. the running game is basically mccoy now.

my pick for most improved team next year: The Kansas City Patriots..... http://www.betfirms.com/chiefs-crennel-d-coordinator-0104/ written January 4, 2010 by Jason Lowry The 2009 regular season is just one day old, but according to ESPN the Kansas City Chiefs are already looking to the 2010 season, as it’s believed that former Cleveland Brown head coach Romeo Crennel will become the team’s new defensive coordinator. Crennel would be reunited with general manager Scott Pioli from their days together with the New England Patriots. It seems as though the Chiefs wanted Crennel last season, but a hip injury kept them from taking the job. The current defensive coordinator for the Chiefs is Clancy Pendergast, but it’s believed that he will not be back next season regardless. This could be a great move for the Chiefs, as they gave up a number of big plays on offense last season, and it will be interesting to see what a new coordinator can do with a lot of young talent. The Chiefs main concern is getting pressure on the quarterback, and if Crennel or whoever can bring that to this team, they will instantly be better on that side of the football. Keep a close eye on who the Chiefs go after this offseason, as it will have a big impact on their NFL odds for next season. It has also been rumored that Charlie Weis could become the teams new offensive coordinator, taking over the duties from head coach Todd Haley.
LL, Crennel would be a good hire and is probably just what you need. Weiss is so tarnished (in my biased view) that I would stay away from him. Haley should go another direction on that side of the ball.
I still like Weiss' NFL resume. I'd also REALLY like to see what he could do with Cassel. Considering KC has no OC as of now...Weiss is better than nada, but I can't say I'd be really bummed if KC didn't land charlie.
He has 3 rings with the Pats, not to mention he also had a good career in New York. It'd be a nice fit for the Chefs (yes I spell it that way on purpose).
Yeah that attempted duplication has been done before, just ask Carmen Policy how his "new 49ers" worked out in Cleveland.
I've been relatively quiet since the Steelers were eliminated. I was about to fly to Oakland and kill Jamarcatard myself if the Bengals half-assed it and somehow beat NY. In any event, congrats to the Jets and have fun losing in the first round. Same to the fricken Ratbirds.
