Lots of intriguing games for the final week of the regular season. Atlanta at Tampa Bay, 12:00 Chicago at Detroit, 12:00 Indianapolis at Buffalo, 12:00 Jacksonville at Cleveland, 12:00 New England at Houston, 12:00 New Orleans at Carolina, 12:00 New York Giants at Minnesota, 12:00 Pittsburgh at Miami, 12:00 San Francisco at St. Louis, 12:00 Baltimore at Oakland, 3:15 Green Bay at Arizona, 3:15 Kansas City at Denver, 3:15 Philadelphia at Dallas, 3:15 Tennessee at Seattle, 3:15 Washington at San Diego, 3:15 Cincinnati at New York Jets, 7:20 Playoff seedings are up for grabs all over the NFL. It's going to be below freezing for the Sunday night game. I think the temp at kickoff will be 18 degrees. Sanchez has thrown 1 TD and 8 INTs in cold weather games this year.
Here's a chart I found on footballoutsiders.com that shows the AFC Wild Card teams for all the possible outcomes of Sunday's games.
GO DENVER, We are missing Marshall and Scheff but we should still be able to win since Chiefs suck at defending the Run. I need the Texans to take out the Pats, Bengals to take out the Jets or Raiders to take out the Ravens or Dolphins to take out the Steelers. 2 of the 3.
The one game that isn't intriguing at all is the Vikings - Giants game. The Vikings are looking to make a statement to make up for a terrible loss at Chicago and try to get a bye while the Giants aren't playing for anything. It looks to me like the Giants have essentially surrendered and handing the game to the Vikes to stick it to their other NFC East rivals. Unfortunately being here in MN there's no other game being broadcast not even on the local CBS affiliate so I am stuck watching this craptacular game.
If there are any West Virginia fans in here you might want to keep tabs on your boy Pat White because he almost just got killed. Needless to say, let's hope for the best.
Henne got hurt and couldn't return so they brought in White. Needless to say, trying to be a QB in the NFL when you can't throw the ball is quite the problem. He tried running the ball towards the sideline on a third down and Ike Taylor gave him a hard but clean shoulder-to-shoulder hit. White laid there motionless for about 10 minutes before getting carted off the field on a stretcher.
Steelers turnover. Miami ball. I mean, if this didn't happen five times already this season I would be smashing my face through every window in my house right about now. And I guess the Texans are about to score too? Yeah......there might be alcohol in my future tonight. Edit: Steelers INT....ahhhh, get me away from this computer. Ben might be hurt too. WTF!??!?!?
Can I get a link to the Broncos game? Or the URL for one of those websites that typically streams them? Appreciate. Rep coming your way.
Now the STEELERS need A LOT of help. We just need 2 of three to win with the Texans beating the Patriots. Let's go, MIAMI!!! Block that field goal!
