I don't know if it has happened before, but I haven't been this into an NFL regular season weekend in a long, long time. The NFL execs have to be loving every minute of this.

My god...even the game between Denver and San Diego means something. They couldn't have asked for it to go down better than it did this year.

Does anybody know the worst loss in Cowboys history?

    Largest margin of defeat?

    Most points allowed?

This playoff picture is interesting in terms of the 2006 QB draft:

Tennessee in the playoffs, Vince Young not playing in favor of Kerry Collins

Arizona in the playoffs, Matt Leinart not playing in favor of Kurt Warner

Denver possibly going to the playoffs, Jay Cutler thanking his lucky stars that the Broncos didn't have Doug Flutie's phone number.

I said back then (with no proof to offer here) that Cutler would be the best Pro of the three, but I didn't see it turning out quite like this.

Well, Baltimore blowing out the Jags right now virtually eliminates the Jets.

Thus, its really only a playoff game for the Dolphins.

But yea... its been pretty damn cool... and kudos to the NFL for allowing CBS and Fox to each show 2 games today. Should be like that every week... assuming sales of NFL Sunday Ticket continue to remain high (which I'm assuming they will... given the amount of bars that get it).

Unless you are a die-hard Jets or Favre fan, I don't see how anyone could not be cheering for Pennington and the Dolphins in this game. What a nice way for him to say "remember me?" to the franchise that ran him out of town on a rail after he broke himself time and time again for them.

Sports radio should be good tomorrow, all those Dallas fans who have been talking trash all year will get theirs. Now we just need the Titans to lose in the playoffs and everything will be gravy.

Wow. Favre has to come back to redo his last play again. Some moron lateraled the ball to him and he got lit up and threw a forward pass from beyond the line of scrimmage. Damn if that's a career ending play.

    Last year was an interception.

AFC- No Jets or Patriots but Dolphins get in. Wow.

NFC- Dallas Hahha suckers can't buy a team. Washington looked like the best team in the NFL for a stretch of 4-5 weeks in the early-mid season. Now they're out.

    Superbowl Prediction

    Panthers vs. Steelers

The NFL playoffs without the Cowboys is like the MLB playoffs without the Yankees: fan-f***ing-tastic.

Why's it so funny watching Brett Favre get decked and tumble like a piece of garbage in a tornado? I mean I don't dislike the guy by any means but it's amusing watching him get hit.

I wouldn't be too quick to put the Steelers in the Super Bowl. We need to find out how bad the injury to Big Ben is.

I could see the Colts or Ravens sneaking in.
