I am in total disbelief right now.

I thought I had no chance in hell. Then DeAngelo Williams gets knocked out for the game, then Rice catches a pass and fumbles.

Right now the yahoo stattracker says My team 110.32 His team 110.16

My team basically just pulled the equivalent of a Jamarcus Russell last second comeback TD drive.

Now I'm waiting for the final yahoo result early tuesday morning.

Yeah don't celebrate just yet... One time this season I thought I had a narrow victory, then in the morning found out yahoo had given my opponent's defense a couple of extra points and I lost by less than 1 point.

I know there is a strategy to ffb, but its about 85% luck.

I'm going to the ship, the ship, the ship!

Well, in my league the #1 and #2 teams, record wise, are facing off in the championship game. Even though I finished with the 2nd best record, I had the most points by far. My opponent was only 5th in points, but somehow managed to have every single team have **** weeks against him.

Steve Smith is a nut. That interview was great. "I had to establish the rules and regulations of the game!". Which are? "89!", "That's why he's goin' home"

FYI for the people earlier talking about the Steelers playoff chances.. they are actually VERY MUCH alive in the race.

They don't control their own destiny, but the teams they need to win and the teams they need to lose are in a very good position to do so. If the Steelers can take out the Ravens next week, I'd look for Pitt to be in the playoffs.. unbelievably.

Texans own tiebreaker against the Steelers. Would love for them to win out assuming we also win out

Haha... its FAR from that simple....

There wouldn't simply be a tiebreaker between just HOU and PIT. There would most likely be 3 or 4 other teams involved in the tiebreaker.. which makes it a whoole different ballgame.

LOL i know it's not simple..I doubt 4 teams go 9-7. I say 3 at most but anyways it's crazy how the AFC is shaping out..

Man . . there maybe so many 9-7 teams that
They will need a BCS selection show type show to explain who is in the playoffs!

As if bringing the BCS into this would make it any *less* complicated.

I was up by 6 going into last nights game. He had Brett Favre and Percy Harvin going last night and is now up one point. I have Fred Davis going tonight, and he has the Giants Defense. To even have a shot at this point is a miracle.

Provided both teams were to finish 9-7...

Texans would make the playoffs if Baltimore OR Denver loses out, Titans lose to the Chargers on Christmas Eve, New England beats Jacksonville, and the Jets lose 1 out of their final 2 games vs Cinci and Indy.

This little thing is a football fan's best friend right now...

They would finish with the same conference record, so it would go to best win-loss in common games.

    Common games:

    Titans
    Raiders
    Bengals
    Dolphins

Assuming the win out, the Texans will be 4-1 against those teams, while the Steelers would be 2-3 in those games.

Steelers are the only team the Texans hold the tiebreaker over.

Basically... if the Texans AND steelers are both 9-7, and the Titans also go 9-7, then I believe the Steelers win that tiebreaker.

If you want a good summary of what needs to happen for the Steelers to get in... look here:
