Bears fans have said the same several times this year. Specifically against the Lions today, it's understandable the focus would be on passing. A brick wall is a brick wall.
Forte's 3rd in the league in rushing attempts for the year, so they do run him plenty. But today, Detroit's run defense is just too good - you're wasting downs. So they are just swing passing it to him which is basically the same.
Bears are 27th out of 32 teams in rushing attempts. Several times this year Trestman has promised (during the week) to run the ball more and did not. The is just one of the reasons he has lost cred with fans.
That's more of an issue for the team in terms of ball distribution than it is Forte. Before this game, he was on pace for about as many carries as he normally gets historically (3rd highest pace of his career). He also already has more catches than he's ever had in a full season, mostly on those on swing passes to emulate runs. So they are using Forte more than they have in any previous season of his career - unless they want to kill him, more carries for him are probably not a good idea.
what is going with buck and aikman both with beards? actually looks good. no homo. and do we really need to see shingles commercials during the broadcast. =( let's go eagles!
Probably the "No Shave November" thing. As to the game, the Dallas defense might die of exhaustion this game if it keeps going this way.
