Playoffs are virtually impossible for the Titans, I think. At 10-6 (the best possible), I think they still lose all the tiebreakers with everyone because their entire 0-6 stretch was in the AFC. You figure Denver should be at least 10-6, and either Baltimore or Pittsburgh should be at 10-6, so it's hard to see how they can make it.
If the Texans were to get to 10-6, they could still be in the mix depending on who else is there and what the tiebreakers are. And really, it's still possible. Their last 3 losses have been to an 11-0 team, an 11-0 team, and a team that's as hot as any in the Titans. The rest of their schedule is much easier.
JAX losing was more than the Texans can hope and they couldn't capitolize. it was have set up an epic game next week. now we have to win out to even have a chance at the playoffs.
Really, pittsburgh is the biggest problem because of their head to head. They have no shot on a tie with them in.
It's cool. The Titans can have him. I couldn't imagine how many more holes we would have if we invested that much in VY. His team had not been ahead of us all season so that insult is meaningless. Yes they're ahead of us now due to our divisional record which blows donkey balls. Anyways, Vince is special. He is soo sick. He is a top ten QB for sure. You happy?
I think you are way ahead of yourself (which has never happened before ) after the euphoria of this win. There are 5 games left in the season to see if Vince is "coming into his own". Even then, I'll remain a skeptic. Just enjoy the ride as long as it lasts without reaching sweeping conclusions.
I didn't say they would make the playoffs...but Vince is now 23-11 as a starting QB. That is FRICKEN SPECIAL !! Now all that is left is for you to realize the truth about Matt Schaub and you will be whole ! DD
You know you cant reason with insanity. Incredible drive that's for sure. I didnt watch it but going 99 yards including 3 4th down conversions is pretty darned good. When he does it year in and year out he will have "arrived."
Yeah - but assuming they get to 10-6, they lose the tiebreaker with EVERY AFC team, Pittsburgh or otherwise. Only way they could get in at 10-6 is if there's only one other wildcard team at 10-6 or better.
To be fair . . . If they invested in VY Then they would not have Schaub . . . which would me they would have 2 more SECOND ROUND DRAFT PICKS on the field Rocket River and maybe some extra money
