Somehow, someway my Steelers are only beating the Chargers 8-7 despite outgaining them by 200 yards.

After whipping the Ravens earlier in the day, Brandon Jacobs relaxes at the Knicks game and does an interview.

Ughhh so ugly. Almost lost yet another game we should have won. Nobody said it had to be pretty though, right? :)

BTW, that should have been a TD at the end! The officials were so flustered, even they didn't know what to do in that odd situation.

I bet there are a lot of mad gamblers out there if they picked the Steelers on their ticket to cover the spread. Refs took away a TD.

Someone explain to ending of the SD/Pitt game. I didn't see a forward pass. Did the officials bungle that up? Betting line was Pitt by 4.5. If that TD was good, Pitt would have covered.

Chargers ran the designed catch-and-lateral which resulted in the backward pass that you saw. There was no forward pass. The officials definitely screwed that call up unless there's another interpretation of the forward/backward pass rule that I am unaware of.

They didn't know if it was a forward pass. They didn't know if it was a backward pass. They didn't know if they were supposed to allow the extra point attempt. Basically, they didn't know much of anything.

Titans came back from 14-3 deficit to win the game 24-14.

    10-0

With the Jets coming into town next week. If the Titans get past the Jets, they've got a great chance at getting to 14-0 going into Pittsburgh. Since, they have 3 straight weeks of playing cellar dwellars.

I really like this Redskins team, they remind me of the Giants from last year

    Dallas wins.

I guess the Eagles have a chance for the 2nd playoff spot that will come from the NFC East but man oh man they better fix a lot of things, on offense mainly.

Cowboys takeout Redskins to stay in playoff picture and play two pushovers in the next two weeks (really one week), since they play on Thanksgiving. But it is against the 49ers and Seahawks.

Chargers might be done after next week, if they lose to Denver.

Big game, next week, The Legend, #4 and New York Jets vs. the Undefeated Titans, you might want to turn TV away from certain sports channels this week, because you are going to hear non-stop coverage about this game.

    Manning#1 is back...

The Giants dominated one of the best defenses in the NFL, the Ravens.

Philly might be done, even though they didn't lose today, but didn't win either.

The MVP vote is still mostly between Warner, Portis, Brees, Manning #2, and possibly a Titan defender.

Although, Favre , Peterson, and Manning #1 are all creeping into the conversation.

The odds are like 0.00000000000000000000000000005% chance of winning the NFL MVP for 2008 Season.

He has a remote shot at it... I guess. :D

But joking aside, he may turnout to be a very good QB, I don't think it will be Kansas City, though. They are going to be terrible for a year or two, and they seem like a dumb enough team to keep drafting QBs without a playmakers being at the other position and decent OL.

I hope Kansas City doesn't turn into the Detroit Lions of the AFC.

In other news, the Lions are in pursuit of the history once again.

    Ofer for 10.

If the Lions were a basketball player, he'd be worst than Luther Head.

For anyone who likes snowy football games, tomorrow's will be fun.

I live about 40 miles south of Buffalo, and so far, within the last 8 hours, we've gotten about 6 inches of snow. They say we could get an additional 1 to 2 feet before 6 pm tomorrow, with snow falling during gametime.

I know several people that are going, and I'm not envious.

Hopefully the weather isn't bad next Sunday in Cleveland, cuz I'll be there. :D

they said it was a forward pass, which it was, and therefore it was a dead play when the ball hit the ground

I wouldn't call those pushovers. Think Browns-Giants earlier this year.

Yeah, more than likely. Boy the AFC West sucks this year.

    No kidding. :(

You think so? I mean, they were playing the Texans. ;)

The Giants look damn good and after losing so much on defense I didn't expect them to compete near this level at all this year.

I wouldn't count them out just yet. They still have 3 division games but they play a stout Ravens D next week and the Cardinals on Thanksgiving. Unless the Eagles fix several of their woes, they'll be sitting at home come January.

There have been a lot of great stories so far this year. I don't know who they are going to give it to. We'll see.
