Hollow numbers. He got a lot of YAC with quick hitting passes, but was mostly ineffective when he was in must-pass situations. He could still carve out a career... But it's still a 50:50 chance he won't make it. Things like his scrambling ability and having those "it" instincts that he relied on in college didn't translate.
the game has passed norv turner by instead of taking a corner, the vikings should have built around their young qb.. smh
The best thing that can happen to the broncos is if Peyton gets hurts. They don't have to make the call to bench him and manning can retire without embarrassing himself further
T-Shirt cannon interception  Spoiler <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Another T-shirt cannon INT for Peyton. Those are the ones that expose the physical limitations. Just floating.</p>— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) <a href="https://twitter.com/TomPelissero/status/666039176719036416">November 15, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Looks like he's finally benched.
I salute Peyton Manning for what he's accomplished but the clock has struck 12. It was idiotic of Ch11 to show Chiefs/Broncos instead of Pat/Giants. But in light of what has happened in Denver, I'm glad to have seen Peyton get the record in what may be the last start of his career.
Carr throws an endzone interception in a quick snap trying to beat the 2:00 warning. Minny answers back with a 80yd AP TD, game's done.
