Bing was too slow to play safety and too small to play weakside linebacker. Then he tore up his knee in rookie camp and that pretty much was all she wrote.
3 douchebags in the same picture(maybe not the guy in the middle, but hang out with d-bags = you're a d-bag), how nice.
Legit question here: Can you get that swoll without steroids? The guy on the left had a before and after picture at the bottom of page 2 in this thread. I honestly don't know. And when I went to college and had a bunch of friends on the A&M team and also knew people on the UT team, and knew some Texans too, none of them looked like that. And people were cut, but never super huge like that guy. And also, this is coming from what I remember when watching a tv special...either it was MTV real life or something on Discovery or Nat Geo. But it was about steroids, and I remember a segment talking about weight lifters and how they have a "Natural" division and an "Open" division, and all these steroids users were talking about how normal it was in the weight lifting world. Well, that USC dude on the left looks a lot more like the non-natural weight lifters, and the Natural guys were huge too, but just a different look from the steroid users. And tying it back into the football players I've seen in life...most I've ever met/known do not look like body builders. And not only does this guy look like a body builder, but he looks so juiced. This is all conjecture, so that's why I'm asking the question.
Doctors clear Matthews/Cushing http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=jc-combinedrugs040309&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
The story on Cushing (allegedly) is that he bulked up hugely in high school (no drug testing), went off it in USC cause he thought he would get busted, developed tissue-injuries common to people who go off roids, grew some man-boobs, and then went back on the juice this year and turned into the incredible hulk. Also, chalk it to rumor in the "guy who knows a guy" department, but I have heard people from Ohio who go to the same gyms say that Laurianitis from Ohio State is an HGH consumer (which would not surprise me in the least, unless you think the Road Warriors were all natural...).
Thanks for the clarification. So I guess there's a legit chance that these guys might get caught/suspended in the NFL. I mean, I'm sure many players do it and some get caught, but I'm not so sure if it's such a great idea to gamble on these players, since they're not sure things anyways. Crazy how rampant the (alleged/proven) steroid use in the NFL is and what little flack they get for it relative to the MLB. While I do agree with Stern that it's not part of the NBA culture, I wonder if the fast-twitch muscle fiber improvement would translate there....you know, like really get you a quick first step.
Apparently the Patriots rumor mongering is working. 23. Patriots Clay Matthews LB USC The Patriots continue their youth movement on the defensive side of the ball with Matthews, the athletic USC linebacker. http://www.nfl.com/draft/story?id=09000d5d80fa8472&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true
