Did they change the game to Saturday? My schedule shows it to be on Sunday.

Sure you aren't thinking of the rescheduled college game (Mia v FS?)

Great game. Both QB's looked good. Edge and Dillion looked good. These teams may meet again in the playoffs.

Miami & FSU is tonight. Titans & Dolphins on tomorrow...

    Titans-Dolphins game moved to Saturday

MIAMI (Sept. 9, 2004) -- The Miami Dolphins' opening game against the Tennessee Titans will be played Saturday instead of Sunday because of approaching Hurricane Ivan.

Ivan could reach southern Florida as soon as Sept. 12, forecasters said. The Dolphins and Titans had been scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET that day. The game will now be played Saturday, Sept. 11, at 1 p.m. ET at Pro Player Stadium.

The sold-out game will be televised live in the Miami and Tennessee home territories by CBS. Live game audio will be available on NFL.com. The game can be seen outside of the Miami and Tennessee markets via NFL's Sunday Ticket on DirecTV on a delayed basis on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

"It's pretty wild," linebacker Junior Seau said. "Where I come from, we have earthquakes. It just happens. Here, you can monitor hurricanes for days and days and your life stops.

"With the weather we have, it can scare a lot of our fan support away, and that's understandable."

For the Dolphins, the scheduling change is the latest development in a preseason that included the retirement of running back Ricky Williams and concerns about Hurricane Frances. The storm last week prompted talk of a player boycott when the Dolphins were forced to play an preseason game in New Orleans against their wishes as the storm threatened Florida.

"We're bullet-proof at this point," coach Dave Wannstedt said. "There's nothing that anyone can do or say that will hurt us. Everyone knows what we've been through."

Honestly, it's not a reflection of their team. They do play the best team ball in the NFL, and their D, though not spectacular, is solid.

I guess it's just a few people that ruin the team for me.

Tom Brady: GREAT QB, but he's from Michigan. Being an OSU alum's kid, I grew up hating anything blue and gold...can't stop that now.

Adam Viniatieri: remember the Texans game where he missed/blocked 2 FGs or something like that? He makes the last FG to win the game and he's the hero. HUH? This man is an overrated kicker, he seems to get all the props even when he fcks up. I just don't understand...

It's not fact-based hatred, or even a white-hot hatred, it's just something emotional, I guess:)

You can't blame vangerfagt for missing that FG. The offense turned it over 3 times while in scoring position. That sack really hurt too. Indy gave that game away. It was a great game all told, though. Down to the wire, lots of scoring, lots of fun.

What sucked was watching Vanderjagt break the record by hitting the game winner in the season finale vs. the Texans.

Of course, if we had won that game, then we would have been 6-10, tied with the Bills, Jets, and Steelers. And you know that the Jets woulda grabbed Dunta Robinson (who I am pretty happy with so far.)
