UPDATE: Schedule posted... <HR> To be released Wednesday evening, to those of us that haven't heard. Lock if already posted.
It's a predetermined schedule...our opponents are already known. We wont play the niners for another 3 years.
Yes. We basically face the entire NFC East along with the AFC North, with the Bills and Raiders sprinkled in somewhere. http://www.fbschedules.com/nfl-14/2014-houston-texans-football-schedule.php
I enjoy speculating and covering the most random of football topics, but schedules are just not one of them.
Thank you black jesus. I'm planning a trip to NY for the Giants game. How crappy is it that I move to DC, and we play the Redskins, Eagles, and Ravens ALL in Houston in the SAME year?!
Especially since the opponents are known, and all the home/away games are known. Basically, its to discuss the "order" of all known games... and I guess whichever games get the national TV treatment (even though there are now 3-4 games/week considered "national" TV games... and all the games are readily accessible to diehard football fans).
The narrative among national folks seems to be they aren' t nearly as bad as their record. MNF seems to be more of the traditional rivalry games than actual games against two great teams, so it wouldn't surprise me to see that matchup there.
Plus MNF isn't what it used to be. Usually, the marquee matchup of the week is the Sunday night game.
The Texans will only have one National TV matchup...It will be the Texans vs Jaguars matchup on Thursday night football...book it!
This. It goes... 1. SNF/NBC 2. 3:30 national TV game/(alternates CBS and Fox) 3. MNF 4. TNF I wouldn't be surprised to see us get one MNF and one TNF game.
They'll probably wanna talk about our #1 draft pick regardless of whether he'd be on the field or not.
