I don't care. If the Texans fail to make the playoffs, nothing less than a coaching change is acceptable.
Agreed, saying that I can already hear Bob's excuses at the year end press conference about the schedule as to being a factor why to give Kubes a 10 yr extension lol...J/k
I'm not even going to try and predict. For all we know the Colts could have lost every game by the time we play them the 2nd time around and the Eagles could be undefeated. Kinda like how everyone expected the Jets game last year to be a easy win against a rookie QB and head coach...come to find out the Jets were one of the best teams in the AFC that season. We could end up playing against the 4-1 Chiefs by week 6. It's unlikely but stranger things have happened.

Hey pal, you're t*** have the same strength of schedule. Good luck with your team. I put you at a strong 7 win season. See you once game play begins.
Dude, relax, I'm not trying to talk trash to you about Tennessee. What I'm saying is that there are enormous changes from year to year in the NFL. Yes, the Titans lost Albert Haynesworth, but that alone wasn't the difference between them being 13-3 and the AFC's top team in 2008 compared with their 0-6 start to 2009. I said April, but truth be told, opinions on the schedule won't be that much more accurate come September 1. You don't know until the season goes along. It's unwise to base opinions on schedule strength based on how teams looked a season ago, and that's been proven over and over again. Bottom line: in the NFL, when predicting how a team will perform before the season, it's not wise to put too much emphasis on the schedule, because you really can't tell a whole lot by it.
Does anybody know when tickets usually go on sale for Texans? Never been, but really excited to see Cowboys vs Texans.
well, you're right about the first part, but the second? hardly...they were spotted 2 of their 9 wins. they just happen to ride that "hot" streak deep into the playoffs.
bingo bango bongo. the jets should come back down to earth this year. that defense is good, but marky mark isn't going to set the world on fire and neither will LT.
That is a brutal schedule. They need to make a splash in trade or FA or I see 8-8 . They have been standing pat too much this offseason.
I think the Jets are setup for some big disappointment this year. They really had no business in the playoffs last year, but I digress as a disgruntled Texans fan. But LT is an average BACKUP at this point in his career. The loss of Thomas Jones will hurt them IMO. Cromartie has come down to earth and his flaws have shown through since that rookie season. He's still starting material but nothing elite. They got a good deal for Holmes, but even still, it's not like we're talking about a perennial pro bowler here. He's a solid #2- that's it. Solid #2 receivers are not that hard to find. I still expect the Rex Ryan head to head ownage of the Texans will continue though.
